Buildings and trees on Stanford Campus

We have graduate student and postdoc fellow positions available, in the board areas of aerosol-cloud-precipitation interactions, air pollution and haze formation, cloud microphysics and dynamics, and climatic impacts of GHG and aerosol on the Earth system. Our lab collaborates broadly with world renowned scientists from Caltech, NASA JPL, UCLA, Texas A&M Univ., DOE labs, etc.

At the Wang Lab, we are deeply committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We believe that embracing diversity in all its forms enriches our lab, fosters innovation, and enhances our ability to address complex climate research.

  • A Bachelor degree in Atmospheric Sciences, Math, Physics, Chemistry, or Environmental Sciences is required.
  • Experiences in numerical modeling, statistical analyses, and big data handling are preferred.
  • The application deadline for Stanford ESS is in early December.

Postdoctoral Fellow Candidates:

  • A Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences or Environmental Sciences is required.
  • Experiences in aerosol/cloud/climate modeling, satellite data, machine learning models, and/or parallel computing are highly preferred.
